Sun causes cutaneous lupus to flare. It goes all UVA and UVB.
Stay out of sun.
If you must go outside, wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants, wide brimmed hat and use a high SPF sunscreen that states that it blocks both UVA and UVB.

Take your medications faithfully.
