Alcohol Treatment Medication

Lamictal and Wellbutrin 150xl 150 if I had my second drink this week tonight, which was a long island iced tea what im taking risks? and if his drink just one more step is always bad for me? I drink every day may have one or two times a week aproximatly I want to know before that as a habit, is it truw that it can interfere with my medication effects? since alcohol is a depressant? im on these drugs as a treatment plan for me im bipolar and have an add too.

I take the same medicine, and I'm fine with a couple of drinks. I found, however, that foods that the stomach is very important when you drink. I reduced my alcohol intake since the beginning of Wellbutrin, but a short time in a while is ok, I was even told by my doctor.

Ok, wow .. 150mg of Lamictal and Wellbutrin? How long have you been on these two medications together? I understand - I am also bipolar - but the Lamictal should be more than enough. You need to research these two drugs at the same time .. just a little side advice:)

As for drinking while on medication, my side effects were personal sleepyness extremes. Medically, if your Lamictal stabilize the chemical imbalance in the brain, and Wellbutrin will take you up (see why I think the two drugs together are vague?) Then you throw in alcohol, which is depressing, and you can have many problems .. the worst being a heart attack, or something equivalent to a cardiac arrest. Its really not suggested.
