Alcoholic Seizures

My mother used to be an alcoholic and had a few crises in the past, when she alighted. She has been sober for several years, but once a year or if it has these episodes where she spaces, and can not speak. When she is able to speak she tell you, if you tell him something. It authorizes up eventually but it is extremely worrying. It's almost as if she is about to enter, but do not work. She does not remember doing it and then repeat. Has anyone had experience with this?

It looks like she has seizures.
Has she had EEG done? An MRI to see if there is no growth could be playing with the brain?
Alcohol and seizures do not mix.

Talk to your mother over and see the doctor, a neurologist, if possible. Seizures are not a hundred percent, not including all entries appear on electro-encephalogram.

Seizures can vary in pitch as you speak only to capture real .. a doctor sounds like a good idea ..

It could be seized, or it could be a "TIA" or eschemic attack transients, which may be a precursor of stroke.
