Angiogram Procedure

My father died after an angiography procedure because, his doctors say, heart attack. what might have gone wrong?

The title of yor question says: "the risks of angiography procedure?". The risks of diagnostic cardiac catheterization bleeding 1-200, 1 death in 1000, a heart attck in 1000 and a stroke in 1000. These figures are for the general population. the risks of a particular person may be higher or lower. I'm sorry to hear about your father. Most likely, he was unlucky. That being said, I suspect his doctors estimated the risks of the procedure were outweighed by the benefits of idebtifying correct a problem.

These things are alerted when you are with the surgeons before surgery, all surgery has risks and angiograms are looking for where the bottlenecks are, so when they put the dye through the clot can cause pass brain-heart etc., very regrettable, but certainly not rare.
