APO Does ibuprofen make you high? I came back from the dentist a few hours before, and he prescribed 400 mg of ibuprofen-APO, some of my friends told me that you made a strong APO .. I was just wondering.
No, it's just an anti inflammatory and will not make you high.
No, APO-ibuprofen is the same as ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil or belonging to a group of drugs called NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory). They have no effect on receptors in the brain and therefore can not make you "high".
So, you want to avoid an overdose of ibuprofen because it can cause kidney damage. Anything over 3,200 mg per day is not safe.
