Beta Blockers Anxiety

Beta Blockers AnxietyDo beta-blockers work for anxiety?

Hello, I beta-blocker propranolol, and wonders if anyone has any experience with them? I suffer from high anxiety to conduct tests and examinations have been perscribed some time to calm down. Thank you!

They reduce the instance of palpitations Yes, but beta-blockers are not without risk. If stress and anxiety is a long term problem for you, then I would recommend CBT (cognitive-behavioral).

Beta-blockers inhibit mainly adrenaline effect on the heart (which is body's own natural stimulant) It basically calms the heart down. They will not actually prevent you from anxiety.

Yeah, I used beta-blockers for this reason and I found helpful. They does not make me feel weird or something I did not get as much work as I expected. I took them for a couple of days before the event, then stopped afterwards.

druggies are not the answer here
therapies that are most effective include
spiritual healing and Reiki
hypnotherapy

They will calm you to go to the root of the problem is not mask the symptoms

Beta-blockers help slow our heart rate. If our heart rate is slower, we are less likely to feel the heart racing "sensation that comes with anxiety. I hope you are OK. Best wishes.

Check it out.
