Over fifteen million people in the United Kingdom are considered the snorers, the problem affects an estimated four in 10 men and nearly three in 10 women. In addition to that, millions more are affected by their partner snoring or neighbors.

In fact, research shows that many are so bed partners often awakened in the night, they managed to wrest from 3-5 hours of sleep. Research also shows that the sound of some snoring can reach 100 decibels, it is hardly surprising that this habit is keeping the nation awake. In addition to this, snoring can also increase the risk of more serious health problems, including hypertension, bronchitis, heart disease, diabetes and hypercholesterolemia, and lack of sleep causes headaches patients, gastrointestinal irritability, nausea and palpitations.
So if you are a snorer, why not try to heal your little problem when stop snoring Week 2008? Stop Snoring Week this year will take place between 21 and 26 April. It is organized by snoring and sleep apnea British Association, which will use the week to raise awareness of physical and psychological effects that this problem can be noisy on the snorers and their bed partners. They will also be using the week to discuss the latest news and research on snoring, as well as to showcase the latest aids to stop snoring.
Snoring and sleep apnea British Association was established in 1991 to educate the public about snoring and sleep apnea. Its main objective is to show people that these complaints are often treatable and that help is readily available. They currently provide many people with useful information on the causes and treatment of snoring and sleep apnea, which can be accessed via their website .
