Bypass Surgery

Bypass SurgeryBypass surgery?

My stepfather had a CABG. I wondered (if no complications) How long a stay in hospital? Only ask because we are traveling out of state and I want to make sure i pack enough stuff. I travel with a newborn.

I'm in the middle of diagnostic determine bridging and I was assured that the hospital is usually about four days, but six weeks before most usual activities rather painful.
(PS: Can not the person who has always said laconically to see a cardiologist so realize the improbability of this time, so our forums exist!)

I had bypass surgery eight weeks ago and I stayed in hospital five days. I had no real complications, but I could not do much for about three weeks. I could not drive for 6 weeks. I am now going to rehab three days a week and has really helped me better faster. I highly recommend it, I feel fine now and doing better every day. I hope everything goes well for your father, tell him to do what its says and do not hurry. !!!!!!!!! Success

This Patient Guide is written for relatives of heart patients who are dealing with short-term stress that comes with a test, procedure or recent diagnosis of heart disease. It explains why support is so important to a loved one to heart disease. It also offers practical strategies on how to support a loved one while taking care of you.

My mother had a bypass quadrupile and stayed only three days later.

You should ask your surgeon or his nurse to cardiac issues.
