Chronic Uti

Chronic UtiChronic UTI?

I had a urinary tract infection for about 4 + months. I did not really start having symptoms until recently, so I did not go see a doctor. Currently I am having burning pelvic pain and burning back pain - The pain radiates down my left leg - it is worse when sitting. I went to a GYN first and I do not seem to have gynecological diseases present.

My doctor ordered two CT scans - one with contrast and with barium. Why my doctor this?

TB could be to make sure you do not begin to form stones. If you can afford an appointment, go see a urologist. They specialize in the urinary tract and disorders. You should drink cranberry juice and water. Try to stay away from soft drinks. Many people believe that soft drinks such as soft drinks, cause urinary tract infections, but they actually make them worse. To prevent urinary tract infections, girls should wipe from front to back to prevent the spread of bacteria when they go to the bathroom. I do not know how old you are, but if you have sex, it is also a good idea to go to the bathroom right after that so you're just "washing" away from the bacterial sex. Certain materials may inhibit the bacteria so you should wear undergarnments which are made of materials that can "breathe" like cotton. I hope this info helped!
