Cocker Spaniel Seizures

Cocker Spaniel SeizuresCocker Spaniel, seizures, need advice ..... PLEASE HELP!?

Aimee (my cocker spaniel dog) is a 3 in perfect health and a half year old pet, except the crises it has been done, all three in total, 1 July 8, 22 November 2008 and February 6, 2009. It is rigid, his eyes bulge and can not blink, she drools a lot and she looks scared. It takes about 3 minutes each time. It is difficult to take him to the vet for a diagnosis, because once the seizure passes, it seems perfectly fine. Have you any idea what it could have? Thank you!

Your veterinarian will be his test for several things that can cause seizures, to see if there is something in his system that could be treated. Seizures are caused by about 13 different things, but most are attributable to a genetic disease for which there is still no test.

If it is not sterilized, which can help control seizures, and can put on a diet without grain. Although not the cause of crises, in itself, hormonal changes and allergies can trigger them apparently at times.

NOTE When someone (dogs in this case) is having seizures that they do not get oxygen!

3 MIN without CAN do serious damage to a small dog

take him to the vet my dog has so they give her medication to help control the most noted dogs are on it the rest of their lives and can be expensive!

Sounds like it could be canine epilepsy take him to the vet and tell him how long seizures last and how the dog is, shortly after. the vet said the symptoms of dog suffers

It need not be in the midst of a crisis when you take him to the vet for a diagnosis. They did blood tests. Your dog needs a vet to be diagnosed and treated for these crises, they are dangerous.

Well, I think you're right. It seems that the seizures. You can not blame him for being afraid. It is medicine for seizures. Please seek the advice of your veterinarian.

Cockers have this problem. My grandmother had two who had epilepsy. I guess the race is at high risk for it. I would take it to the vet. They had brain damage from a seizure

I am surprised by the description that your veterinarian diagnose disorder. This does'nt input can be simply controlled with a med called phenobarbital .. I had a peke who was 16 years old and she did very well on what medication. She had an opportunity, tell your vet will want to try MED this is exactly how the actions are
