Colon Hemorrhoids

Colon HemorrhoidsHemorrhoids or colon cancer?

I had blood in my stool for about 3 months now and I am very worried because he is on and off. Sometimes I had the blood and sometmes I wouldnt. I googled and found information that the first four symptoms of colon cancer was.

1. blood in the stool
2. pain in the stomach - Nope take stools per day almost every day
3. different bowl movements - all were substantially the same (maybe had loose stools about once or twice a year)
4. weight loss - in fact, gained weight

I have not had one of those four, but the first (blood in the stool). I am very worried that the blood (when I wipe) are red or bright red.

Is there a good chance that I have hemorrhoids instead of colon cancer. My age is 26

Agree with "JB"
Hemorrhoids are much more likely to cause BRRB - bright red rectal bleeding
In addition, you are probably young.
Sure would reveal your age.
This information is so important questions about cancer.
If you are under 30 years, chances are extremely low that it could be cancer of the colon.

Oops - I see that you indicate your age.
At the age of 26, hemorrhoids are by far the most likely.

Bright red blood means it has oxygen in it, ie it is "fresh" blood, it is a consequence of a fissure or hemorrhoids (looks up), the blood in the stool that would be caused by cancer in black or looking completely "hidden" (detectable only by a stool-test).

You should not use Google to self-diagnose (or you should read the results in more detail!), I am sure there are no legitimate sources out there suggesting that the blood bright red stool is a sign of cancer!

You do not eat enough fiber, and you probably do not drink enough water or get enough exercise ...

More than likely hemorrhoids or tiny tears in the rectum that occur with the passage of hard, dry stools of constipation. You can go to WebMd.com and type of hemorrhoids and read about recommendations for treatment there. You can then type in constipation and read the dietary recommendations that you need to do to prevent future episodes of this spectacular addition to increasing your daily water intake.

resemble either hemorrhoids or anal fissures (cracks in the anus). The bright red blood means it is very cool, so it is not the upper colon. It is more likely the rectum. But you should talk to your doctor about it just in case.
He / she will probably recommend a colonoscopy to be sure it's not colon cancer. I had a colonoscopy, I think I was 20 years old then, and it's not funny, but it is very important to ensure your colon is healthy if you are having strange bowel symptoms. I was afraid I had cancer of the colon too, b / c I had severe abdominal pain and alternating between constipation and diarrhea.
The preparation is difficult (it must be totally empty your colon and eat a liquid diet without red, orange or purple), but the procedure is very simple, most people fall asleep. I did. I have vague memories of feeling the scope and go see something pink on the TV screen and in white thereafter. IMHO, the worst solution is to drink the laxative, it tastes really foul. Other people think the worst is always running to the bathroom for at least six hours during the preparation.
