Complex Partial Epilepsy

Complex Partial EpilepsyCan you die of complex partial epilepsy?

I did some research to see if I have symptoms of epilepsy and it turns out that I only do complex partial epilepsy. i cannot seem to find if it is fatal or not. Can someone give me some info on that?

Patience! Have you ever seen a doctor about this, or did you self-diagnosis? Many people, (it is a survival mechanism) self-diagnose the worst pain possible based on symptoms. You should consult a physician if you feel you are ill, and he / she will make a diagnosis and prognosis. Until then, do not lose sleep.

You need the EEG and MRI and talk to neurologists before you can determine if you have the EP. You can not just jump and say that I have this look. However, as for your question even if complex partial seizures are fatal or not the answer is no. It is important that you are away from your "diagnosis". You do not even know the area of the brain that you are talking. It may appear as a kind of seizure and does another. As someone living with epilepsy in their daily life, I'd say you go to your primary care doctor, have them refer you to a neurologist. If they feel there is a need to run tests and they will be based on what they find, they act accordingly.
