Coping With Anorexia

Coping With Anorexiaanorexia nervosa - cope with weight gain?

Hello everyone:) I was diagnosed with anorexia nervosa and it seems that I must have about 8 kg (17.6 lbs). I lost my period and I know he is not allowed and I'm not healthy yet. But I still can not force me to be allowed to acquire all the weight back. I hate looking at pictures of me at the time and I remember very well I felt fat and ugly, even if it was my natural weight. Does anyone know how to cope mentally with the fact that you need to win? I would try to win for my family, but not for me. I love the way I look and I know I'm going to feel crap again if I gain back ....

I'm in the same decision and the need to gain about 14 pounds. I also lost my time and my hair falls.

I know it seems so difficult to understand but really be healthy is all that matters. Being fat is not acceptable and being too thin is not acceptable. You just try varyyour plan, you do not stuff yourself with food fullof shit.

Try to eat more fruits and meat, try to eat cheese and yogurt:) It is normal to low-fat option. Gain back slowly and remember that you are beautiful. Since I eat more I feel much happier, it's hard but it was also better for me mentally. It becomes easier, I promise! Stick to it:)

I read in Glamour magazine, there's this thing called phototherapy where basically you have your photgrapher taken nude or semi-naked (I know, I thought it sounded too scared), then the photographer sends to you, and its supposed to help people suffering from anorexia nervosa. I can help you see what you really look over how you think you look like. You can try it.
