Cpap Apnea

Cpap ApneaWhat alternatives are effective for sleep apnea, in addition to CPAP?

I can not afford a PPC machine now. Are there other solutions that help sleep apnea? I tried braces before, but it hurts my jaw and teeth too. Surgery is also not an option at present because of the cost. Is there anything that can be done? I'm losing weight, so no need to tell me that, whatsoever.

It may be useful to review the option spokesman sleep apnea. If you can get in hot water before putting in for the first time it should mold your job better and less uncomfortable

I understand your problem because I was in the same situation. I'm glad you already know that weight loss treatment with CPAP, and surgery are the most effective treatment for your sleep apnea.

For me, the works of another treatment because I have sleep apnea, but I do not know how severe your sleep problems. I use a special belt that lets me sleep on the side, not on my back. Anyway, here are some tips for you:

* Try to sleep on the side rather than sleeping on the back because it can produce loud snoring due to blockages.

* Elevate your head when you sleep. This measure can reduce snoring and breathing easier.

* Use a humidifier during the night to make the most humid air.

* Do not smoke for at LEA several hours before bedtime. In doing so, the smoke can cause airways to tighten the neck, worsening sleep apnea.

* Maintain regular sleep hours. In my case, I had to quit my job of shift work, to have a normal sleep.

* Use a nasal dilator, a saline nasal spray or breathe right strips to help open the nasal passages.

I hope this helps!

There is no other solution that will help others with weight loss and CPAP. You can get a CPAP very cheap these days. Less than $ 500 to save your life is not too bad. Start saving if you do not have insurance and are ineligible for assistance. In addition, if you can afford anything, you can rent a CPAP. It is not profitable in the long run you, but in the short term, it can help a lot. None of the other gadgets work. They are normal for snoring, not apnea. There is an alternative that can help you if you sleep on your back .. assistance in the short term until you find your options for the machine. get a towel and roll it and put it under your neck, which will tilt the chin toward the ceiling. If you can sleep like this, it will help. No cure or perfect, but it will help.
