Dyslexia Center

My BF is dyslexic and has been postponed for one year in high school.

This makes them feel stupid and he wants to leave school.

How can I help? Are there special centers that I can take to help?

I have mild dyslexia, but I still obsessed by her progress and to be too careful. It is a question of mind where you transpose numbers or letters if the word you are reading or writing is in the wrong order. for me it comes with lists of numbers. what you can do is try memory games, as they have this game on the Nintendo DS did you practice to remember certain things in a certain order. I think it seems to help the brain gets used to keep things in a certain order. your right (artistic) of the brain does not think logically it can not understand the concept of a sequence. parallelepiped can read your eyes but if your right brain tries to take over the interpretation, it eats all the letters at once and you go wtf? I played the game for several days on someone else gameboy as a year ago and it is strange because since I was less inclined to mix things up.

people are more left brain logic sequences and right-brain people are better at allowing non-linear thinking when you try to create something based on old data, but can be a handicap when you need letters or numbers to form a linear fashion. try the games, it can not hurt. He also has a bunch of other things in mind so I do not rule things in the situation. if he finds a more stable living situation, he may find it easier to concentrate on other things.

PS - I am also curious to see how difficult it is for him or any person with dyslexia to read "parallelepipeds" I like the word because of the fluidity of the music he has, but I can imagine it is difficult because of rehearsals letter: P

Tell him never to give up education!
He is not dumb, he just needs more time to work through things. Tell him he's not alone, I know people with the same thing, they never gave up and now have good jobs, it took them another year to go through things, but they have been there!

No. There is a problem, I have a little, my mother is a greater degree muchhhhhhhhhh, he sometimes comes when people compliment me when I can say or do things that are really smart, just make a good friend you it feels like hes not dumb, just because ur not working coz you say dyslexics
