Some questions on a program of eating disorders in a hospital? Can someone please answer these questions for me?
Adults are admitted to eating disorder units?
If you are single, with children, doctors will still tell you?
When doctors consider the admission of an adult in a unit of eating disorder, she depends on their weight?
Could someone who has been in a unit of eating disorder please give me an idea of what is involved, why they were admitted, and tell me if they were helped there or if they relapsed after.
Thank you.
Yes, adults are admitted to eating disorders units, some in a section of the Mental Health Act (usually only if their BMI is extremely low in anorexic, bulimic with very low electrolyte levels, which may also be true many anorexics and very, very rarely people Binge Eating Disorder, though many professionals do not recognize this as an eating disorder ... and, of course, if someone has an eating disorder and is "actively suicidal)
Single parents are admitted to eating disorders and norally units are supported by their grandparents, etc. There were two in service the last time I was in one.
I have been in many units of eating disorders, the last time it was the Priory (paid by the NHS), and to be honest, it did "nt work for me, but don ' certainly help a great majority of patients get really good (it is' nt a EDU / treatment / everyone regardless of treatments, all the time, of couse people with eating disorders have thought quite polarized, then. ..).
If you `ve had the oppertunity to go to a unit of disodium eat (many are 'nt), and are able and willing to work as hard as you can, please go ahead. Your children would much rather you became so in the hospital and they only got to visit you for a few weeks / months to attend your funeral whilethey `re still children. Sorry if it's brutal, I just hope that the decision you have is the righton for you, if so, "It is good for them too.

Take Care ...
If you feel that you have an eating disorder ..
at any age, you can be admitted to a hospital for help.
they would make sure that your child looks like before you were admitted.
your weight does not always depend on if your .. admitted
chances are they will ask lots of questions and then you say ... Once your there ... they will try to help as best they can and until you release your best ...
it is really hard to .. first as a cheeseburger and is looking to eat.
but it helps a lot the only sad thing is that you can go anywhere from 1 month to 8 monthes .. one year.
I do not know if you keep any more than that.
but when you start to feel better depending on where you are, you can go outside when you have visitors. and you can receive visitors, even if your first admitted to most places at a given time.
Good luck to you <3
If you ever want to talk send me an email.
Yes, they have a problem. The weight is just part of it. It is a mental health problem. Ask for help.
I can tell you what it was for me. I was an adult too. And has been unique. It does not matter if your parent or not. So there will be someone to take care of your children while you're in treatment, you will then end.
My parents helped me get into the treatment program is an eating disorder. I was the only one to decide whether. if I was ready to receive the help I needed. They made arrangements for me. It does not depend on weight. It depends if the person is ready to go better for themselves.
eating disorder treatment programs accept people of all weights. Sometimes they are compusli.
