Hearing Aid Dispenser

Hearing Aid DispenserHave you be a hearing aid distributor authorized to sell assistive listening devices (ALD)?

I know that audiologists and hearing aid may sell devices for the deaf, but are ALD limited sales to those professional license or a retail store may sell ALDs?

EDL are not regulated, and therefore can not be sold by anyone. For example, Radio Shack has a special needs division, and there are several internet / catalog based businesses. People can research various products and shop around for prices - what I usually suggest to my patients.

Here are a couple:

It depends on where you live. My understanding is that you can sell a product until it is not called a hearing aid or hearing aid. Local laws vary from state to state and country to country.
