Hepatitis B Core

Hepatitis B CoreHepatitis B?

My husband is positive "antibodies to hepatitis B and all other tests for hepatitis B are negative, two months ago he was also having the same result.
Six months ago, it was all negative.
I also tested it myself it came negative.
It is not to have health complications and had no trouble for the past three years.
The doctor told him you do not get treatment, have sex with your wife without protection!
My questions are:
1 - The virus still live in his liver?
2-What is the possibility of transferring the virus to me.
3 - What is the probability that the virus begin to be active again?
4 - Do you suggest any medication for him at this stage?
5 - Is the antibody "Hepatitis B" test required for immigration or they ask for Hepatitis B surface antigen "test only

If it is allowed out of his system when he is allowed already. He is fine now, with the addition of an antigen in the liver, but this is no cause for alarm.

About your questions, I will do my best to answer them
1. Nope, the virus has cleared already ... that the positive result means that the core antigen (the actual molecular structure in the virus itself, which reacts with antibodies of the immune system) is just the surface of his liver, it can come loose or simply stay with time, but only antigen basis will not do anything on the body of your husband - Think of it as craters on the moon after having been bombarded by asteroids, such as scarring or after obtaining injury. But no, there are no viruses capable of infection.
2. IF and only if your husband is infected with hepatitis B, some possible ways it can be transmitted by blood transfusion is an open wound to open wound contact, sexual intercourse and sharing needles, among others. Since your husband is already clear the virus, you can do about the ones I mentioned, without having to worry about contracting the virus itself (unless of course he has another infection), although I have no logical answer to why you would do them.
3.No hunting it active again, since it is only an epitope, that remained was whether the viral DNA of hepatitis B virus and it is somehow within one cells of your husband, then everything would start ... it is in theory only, in reality, your husband would not have to worry so much re-infection unless it is re-infected.
4.Just like what the doctor ordered - No, if you want extras such as Liverade, then it would be good ... Make sure Liverade is ok for him to take.
5. Ah, now comes the tricky part, because it is a subject on which immigration can be really picky and will discuss the camp for the asking (if you guys are applicable) ... I am not a person to tolerate, but if the immigration application for any infectious disease, but does not require any additional medical documents, just answer NO, I think it is not part of the reporting criteria any infection that might have occurred or are occurring.

Hope this helps! And he's fine by the way. :)

Does it really HBV ave? sometimes the tests come back with false positives. Usually, the virus can lie dormant in the liver until it triggers. try to get the vaccine against HBV. This is a series of three shots. works well in the prevention of HBV.
