Hepatitis Foundation

My grandmother recently died of hepatitis. She contracted it 20 years ago from a "bad blood" while being treated for cancer. I wanted to start a foundation in his honor awareness to help save other peoples lives and other families go through what my family and I went through. I was just wondering what all you have to do to start this process and where do I start?
