At 9 years old was admitted for 4 days wid tempertaure increased at home and amonuts copiou diarrhea.mother of aqueous sodium carbonate gave baby to replace fluid States lost.the baby mother and child does not wet IN12-15 hrs.weight layer is 7.7 kg of the heart rate is 164 bpm and BP 48/30mmHg.PE reveals patient is breathing dry lethargic wid membranes.patient deep.eyes mucosa are extremely precious, and this patient had test seizures.lab are 113meq Na / L, K 4.6meq / l Cl 80meq / l bicarbonate blood gases are pH 7.17 pCO2 20mmHg 7meq/l.arterial BUN 58mg/dl urine specific gravity is 1.031 creatinine 50mg/dl?
HINT: It ACIDOSIS So do not forget to give BICARBONATE

I can not help but agree with the first responder. If you can not do your own thinking, research and reasoning, how do you do it yourself???
Try a metabolic acidosis. Start a line. Run your own research and know what the IVPBs should be to correct the electrolyte imbalances and what should be the primary fluid.
