Kidney Stent

Kidney StentHow long can a kidney stent placed after the removal of kidney stones?

stay in the kidneys without causing permanent damage? I can not afford the operation to remove it and need to know how much time I really do damage before the stent in the long term. Please help me.

Stents may be left in for months at a time. It should not be too much of a burden to remove the prosthesis (you paid for putting it in) because it is not as complicated as putting the stone and get treated. If there is a rope attached to the stent, the stent can be removed in the office. A stent causes irritation, but not long-term damage (unless it is hardened with fragments of stone). You can make payments. The doctor's office will work with you on this point.

When I had them in, they were removed in the office. It was not pleasant, but it was quick. They were 2-3 weeks.
