Liver Abnormalities

Liver AbnormalitiesI have regular blood tests, because I'm a diabetic. He is also checked for liver, kidney abnormalities, etc.?

I had the latest results back today, which showed arthritis. Does anyone know, if only rheumatoid arthritis, I can not imagine showing osteo-arthritis in a blood test.
I had health problems following a stroke four years ago.
Hope someone knows Thanks in advance.

You're right most of arthritis (type of arthritis) did not produce diagnostic blood testing. But rheumatoid arthritis occurs in patients who have other, if a specific test is done. A positive test may be recorded in a patient with no symptoms and a negative test can occur in a patient with severe symptoms, if the result must be combined with what happens to the patient.

Yes when they do a blood test, they can test it for inflammation of rheumatoid arthritis and shows that high cholesterol test hope this info helps you

These labs usually run on the screen for rheumatoid arthritis is an RF, CCP, ESR, CRP and ANA. You're right that there is no specific blood test for osteoarthritis, but there may be soon. An abnormal CBC or Chem panel may suggest an inflammatory condtition but need other tests to confirm an accurate diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis. Make sure you follow up with your doctor.
