Lupus Gluten

Lupus GlutenLupus and gluten free diet?

I heard it helps a lot. I cut a lot of wheat, mainly because my mother has celiac disease and does much of its own food, but not completely. I was wondering if anyone has it and it really makes a difference?

Some lupus patients also celiac disease and must stay away from all gluten. Gluten is a tendency to cause inflammation in susceptible individuals and from lupus is an inflammatory disease, we do not add to the inflammation.

However, many people with lupus have no problem with gluten. I have SLE with involvement of major organs, I am in remission, and have no problems with gluten. You can try it and see if there is improvement.

Yes, it absolutely does help! Well for you to pay attention to natural solutions. In many cases people have actually reversed lupus (a food allergy may be causing the problem for some) by eliminating gluten. If you can stick with a whole food, natural food (anti-inflammatory, ie alkaline), then that is very ideal and you will reap the benefits.

I'm looking for all natural approaches to healing as I have written a book about my experience of healing lupus testimonies of all sorts of healing modalities as well as others (I continue to update as I I met more).

I hope you continue on your way back to the well-being:)

Sincerely,
Stacey Becker
