What about alternative medicine for lupus? Health micronutrients has something that I would try but I'm tired of something is not given by the doctor.
Please talk to your doctor. These people are micronutrients glyconutrient on the net sell their stuff as a cure for lupus. If you explore a bit, you will see they are pyramid schemes or MLM like Amway.
Think for a moment. If it was really a cure would be millions and millions are spent on research each year? Would there was an international symposium lupus in Shanghai, China last May that brought together all the top researchers in the lupus world? People would still be on disability because of lupus? Do not you think that doctors want to heal us? Mine do and we work together to make the best possible life for me.
But check their validity for yourself. Ask them if they can refer you to one of the journals that have evaluated their search requests. Ask where you can read their actual studies on the line. Is there a control group? How many people participated? For how long? What were the criteria? How did they disease activity measure? Do you know that there is no reliable measure for clinical flares of lupus? I wonder how they measure.
Consider complementary medicine instead of replacement. Think of things that work with your treatment. What might these? Regular exercise lowers blood pressure, reduces the risk of atherosclerosis (lupus affects people more than others) by lowering bad cholesterol, a diet heavy nutritions in food costs of the entire plant, learn techniques for stress management. meditate, do spiritual reading, try acupressure and acupuncture and massage. Being a proactive patient.
There is no quick fix. Most of us lupus patients think we have stumbled upon one to be disappointed. Bring your mind to the question and your hopes and your dreams.
Do your research. People are assisted in receiving the micro-nutrients they need. I use a product that has changed my life (I have ADHD). I tried many products that did nothing for me. If the product is in good standing with your body to use, you can see a significant change for health. If it has artificial ingredients (dyes, fructose, etc.), I would not use it. Tell the person to provide a sample to try. If it helps, then you can decide.
