Lupus Memory LossLupus and memory loss?

Does anyone know of lupus and how it can cause memory loss? If you do you know how this can be avoided? Are there changes in diet that might help? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Lupus can affect memory and cognition in general. But this is not just lupus.

If inflammation in the brain, lupus cerebritis, your submission will be affected.

If you have central nervous system of your memory will be affected.

If you have anemia, and lupus often causes anemia, you will have memory problems.

Prednisone can alter your mood, and not for the better. It can be a restless and aggressive. This will take the path of memory.

The depression that often accompanies life with lupus affects memory. It is the loss of sleep, common among lupus patients.

Worry and anxiety that accompany lupus can cause memory problems.

You're not crazy, you're sick.

There are no specific arrangements for your memory. For lupus, is a good idea to eat a diet rich in fiber and low in fat. Avoid processed foods and fast. Eat foods as close to their natural state as possible. Eat bottom of the food chain (many fruits and vegetables). Avoid preservatives and additives.

Try journaling for about 20 minutes each day to cope with psychosocial problems that accompany lupus.

Best wishes.

The only answer so far is about energy??? Talk about not even reading the question the position .... Sheesh!

To answer your question, I've never heard of lupus affecting the memory ... Generally, it's symptoms are joint pain, rashes and fatigue. If you experience problems with your memory at all, I can recommend several natural memory and brain support products.
You can try Ginkgo Biloba, Acetyl L-Carnitine, Phosphatidylserine, Fish Oil, Vinpocetine, Huperzine A, Bacopa monnieri (or Monnier), or Alpha-GPC. These are the most popular products for memory and brain support to help many different people.

In addition to pills, you can always do mental exercises, too. Playing games (such as children's play "Memory") or using memory tricks (mnemonics, etc.) may also contribute to the work of the course of your brain which are responsible for memory.
