I recently received a diagnosis of lupus, a disease of connective muscle and skin disease.i'm late on my rent.? I have a 7 year daughter.I have nobody else to help or support me.I have family, but we have not speak.I worked since the age of 13 years is old. This very hard for me right now.Im not used to this situation yet.Im used to be able to get my child what she wants, without question, and pay all my bills.
Prayer still works! whatever the situation, just ask God to help you and lead you and show you what the right thing to do. Another thing you can do on top of prayer may be calling for public support, I know, this is not what anyone would ever do, but sometimes you just put the pride aside and take what you can. i rather our tax dollars to someone like you who need it, as some Jacka ** which is right all day doing nothing and collect a fat check from the government at the end of each week to buy beer and drugs. you are in my prayers! Good luck!
Ask your family to help you and explain that the doctor says you have Lupus and ask for help
One of the most difficult challenges to deal with lupus is to learn to accept help.
First, call 211. This is the online reference United Way. They should be able to tell you what help is available in your community. But they do not know everything, then go to the next steps.
Call your county information line and ask for social services. Ask what kind of help is available. Sometimes they can help you rent or untilities for a short period (one month or more). There may be a program for indigent health care, where you can get medical care. Also find out about free private clinics in your area.
When you dial 211 to request the number to apply for food stamps. You should be able to get that, and also some TANF is temporary assistance for people with dependent children.
Talk to your doctor. If this sounds like you are unable to work, call a lawyer Social Security Disability and find one that will give a free consultation before filing. Do not do yourself, because once you put something down, you can not go back. According to social security if you can sit in a wheelchair in front of a cinema ticket with a take Are you are not disabled. You want to make this right.
Call your local Catholic church and ask for the number of St. Vincent de Paul Society. They help all kinds of people. They will also free clinics and offices abouf food.
Now, on the family. Stress is the easiest way to trigger lupus flares. Unless your family is so dysfunctional they make you crazy, trying to reconcile with them. They will probably need to help your daughter, no matter what.
