MalariaMalaria ?????

Malaria a serious disease for today? my brother had and he's College Hospital is unable to come home.will be allowed? I hope they take care of itself!

Malaria is a common tropical disease affects a large majority of the population in many developing countries.

Malaria, which is dangerous is that which affects the very young or is not detected early enough (ie, until that person becomes delusional and his brain has been affected - known as behalf of brain fever), or is caused by one strain - Plasmodium falciparum, which is resistant to many common types of anti-malarial tablets.

If it has already been diagnosed and started treatment, and do not very serious or critical stage before he was diagnosed, you can be assured that it is beautiful and he will recover very quickly. Even in the worst cases, mortality is relatively low (when you compare with other fatal diseases) and is less than 20%. If your brother is in the U.S., it does not surprise me that he was hospitalized, as they would keep under observation during treatment and also ensure it does not become a cause for disease transmission to others in the community through mosquitoes. It is also possible that he could have falciparum malaria, for which it is best to give medication under observation and make sure it responds to drugs, some of which he is reported resistance.

active malaria infection with P. Falciparum is a medical emergency requiring hospitalization. Infection with P. vivax, P. or P. ovale malariae can often be treated as outpatients. Treatment of malaria involves supportive measures as well as antimalarial drugs. When properly treated, someone with malaria can be cured.

Since the malaria parasite affects the blood cells, it is bound to feel weak for some time and with proper nutrition and rest, he will recover fully and have nothing to fear.

It may take several months to fully recover, and if it is generally in good health otherwise, it should be good.
Not much fun, though.

It is still serious. It is still pretty nasty.

But if the doctors caught it early, they have good salaries, and it will be fine. So it's getting good medical attention and plenty of rest.

It depends on what you get if you strain and can afford treatment. I have had malaria twice and I am now very well. This is not funny, believe me, it is a serious deadly disease, but if you have health insurance or a little money can be treated easily. But please tell your brother to take more precautions now that the second time around a lot more dangerous than the first, and so on and so on .. If you do not take anti-malarial drugs, eating neem leaves or use a spray containing DEET in it. And when you have symptoms of malaria .. get a test immediately. The sooner you catch the better. If your brother is currently in hospital receiving treatment for that he should be fine. Hope this helps and take care.

It can be a dangerous disease, but it is quite treatable. If he has been diagnosed and is in the hospital, chances are he will be totally fine. Treatments are underway, which explains why it has been accepted and it can really wipe a person who has it, so he may be tired or weak for a while, but chances are it will be very well before you know it.

It is important that he get plenty of support but, so make sure you call or sending cards. If you are able to visit him to bring him magazines or books or treats or send a package car. Boredom is a common side effect of hospital stays.

Malaria is not usually a serious disease, but severe and complicated malaria or cerebral malaria is serious. Falciparum malaria is more serious than Malaria P. vivax. It should get better in a d. a few
