People With Autism What people with Asperger / autism who gets the laugh when in public? Asperger's patients typically do not receive "laughed" when in public because their social anxiety deters them from even trying to interact with others .... Autistic people sometimes laugh because they can stand quietly somewhere and talk to themselves (which can be great fun!), but really all they do is train on the same type of "internal dialogue" Everyone enters, they are just doing it out loud ...
