Pictures Of Skin Sores

Pictures Of Skin SoresSore / tumor on the neck of the dwarf hamster and out of the black skin-Photos needed?

Two weeks ago this looked like a tumor that arises from nowhere on our 1 1 / 2 year old hamster neck. She began to scrape (Bled), to her while since I applied bacitracin day 2-3x. It had originally been eating a lot when it started and got thinner. Now she is eating again and seems happy, although no longer seems to use his wheel and it continues to scrape. The wound appears to be black and out of his skin on his neck now (and I think that more and more). I wonder if it's an abscess or tumor. Anyone can have a picture of these, could not find anything similar to the line. Advice? Just do not want our precious snowflake to suffer. Unfortunately Veterinary too expensive right now for the family. Thank you for help greatly appreciated.

I know how you feel my hamster, Ashton had a tumor on his foot (when I say I was mean, he ate!). The vet was expensive for me too, but I sucked and post deferred pay some bills for him.
I'll give you the exact advice my vet gave me for this situation.
"Where you do not want to see your animal is suffering, it would be stupid to get the tumor removed. Hamsters only live 2-3 years and are mostly higher for tumors / cancer. Getting the tumor removed would cost a minimum of $ 500, and that for surgery alone. Just keep the comfort. "

It was the worst at the time, but she made a good point. Keep Snowflake happy because there is nothing you can do. Even if you had the $ 500 for the surgery, she would probably die within a year or two.

Best wishes and good luck, I can tell everything.
