Potassium Bromide Canine

My dog suffers from fits of the cluster that are getting worse. It took potassium bromide, but the side effects make him lose his muscle control and his ability to walk. The only other treatment I know is phenobarbital, but my vet says that this drug might cause liver damage over time. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

There are many drugs that are used in people to attack. Learn about Dilantin, Depakote, Neurontin, etc.

Phenobarb may still be an option if the liver function tests are conducted frequently.
