Red Itchy Scrotum

I had an itchy red rash on my scrotum for about a year now, I made several trips to the doctor and was prescribed various "Jock Itch" remedies. However, none of them worked and my doctor does not know why this might be ... what else could it be? He suggested I see a specialist about this? I am very concerned, and my girlfriend is not happy either. What else .... jock itch could it be?

jock itch is a condition that occurs when guys wear jock straps, tight leggings or something like that too often. If you want it to stop on the boxers or underwear that allows the breathing will help you.

jock itch is a fungal infection and can be difficult to treat. However, it is usually not confined only to the scrotum, and is often accompanied by peeling skin.

Until this problem existed, it may be an allergic reaction whatsoever. Change soaps, talcum powder use in your underwear, may need to change laundry detergents. May need a cortisone ointment to clarify things (however, if it is still jock itch, cortisone never let the wild mushroom).
