What IUCO In: Pre-eclampsia severe uncontrolled hypertension IUCO PNH, not in work, AOG mean? PNH is for hypertension
AOG is the gestational age,
How about IUCO? Pls. Answer. 10 points for best answer. THANKS!
I think NPH stands for "greatest number" HTN is hypertension
I am clueless about IUCO
Added:
maybe "In an emergency only" (just a guess)
then everything would read as follows:
"Severe preeclampsia as many uncontrolled hypertension in an emergency only, and not in labor, gestational age ..."
IU is generally for intra-uterine, but I've never seen IUCO. IUGR is common (delay of intrauterine growth), as IUP (intrauterine pregnancy).
Also never seen it written as hypertension PNH. It would be more likely to be against HPV (human papillomavirus) - was this handwritten note that you are trying to decipher? Hypertension is a part of pre-eclampsia and is listed separately as uncontrolled, so I doubt the PNH is supposed to be high.
Also never seen AOG. We use EGA (estimated gestational age) or EDC (expected date of delivery).
You'd better ask the author of the note on what they mean.
