Consult a doctor - you may need to be prescribed a mild dose of an antidepressant to help you sleep.

In addition, sleep disorders may be symptoms of other diseases, it is best to get checked.

Exercise, but not in two hours before bedtime. Have a warm bath or shower, one hour before bedtime, then a glass of warm milk, possibly with Horlicks, or one of the teas, below, and use dimmer lighting. Put your mind in a position where it wants to close, and sleep. See insomnia treatments, in much more detail than can be included here, in section 3, Ezy build, below. Use one of the methods of relaxation, in bed after lights out in Articles 11, 2, 2.c, or 2.i, but they may take some time to master, (Progressive Muscular Relaxation excepted ) to learn and become proficient in their use during the day. An alternative is to use EFT, Article 53, by saying: "Even if I sometimes sleep disorder, I deeply and completely accept." (Or choose your own wording) that you use the acupressure tapping.

Avoid TV, computer, or anything exciting at this time, although reading a BORING! book is a good idea. I suggest you try using the EMDR variant, Article 3, on a page before the mindfulness or progressive muscle relaxation, but after the EFT, if that method is chosen. Experiment to find the combination that works best for you. I also use it before my chosen relaxation technique, after lights out at night. Do not sleep until you are tired. Make sure you get up and do something physical during the day and you'll want to sleep. Drink hot tea and take a bath. This may also help.
Do not weed. This is not the answer. There are many different pills out there and I bet you did not find the right one. Do not become dependent on an illicit drug. This just creates another problem. My ex used to say that smoke marijuana and get hungry. "
