Sore Hard Palate

I am having unbearable pain in my mouth, hard palate. It burns like hell when I eat foods especially acidic foods. By touching the hard palate with my tongue, I think the veins are so big and painful. I smoke about 3-5 cigarettes a day light. Could it be difficult mouth cancer?

The same thing happens to me when I did the silk in the night! I do not smoke much. This is not cancer. Mine comes and goes based on whether or not I floss. Yes, it hurts a lot but it will eventually go away. Avoid spicy foods! Hope this helps.
