Stages Of DementiaIf a feeding tube can be used for a person with advanced dementia?

I have a loved one with advanced dementia who is unable to eat or swallow well. My family has talked about the possibility of a feeding tube. On the one hand, we do not want it to suffer the pangs of hunger. On the other hand, it would be difficult to watch just laying in bed without quality of life, total boredom, and pain that result may or may not be able to express. Is there more information out there that would help us decide?

well without a feeding tube and you starve your body starts to deteriorate with wounds and painful, I would go with a tube if it has no other problems at the moment, if she had breathing problems and pain or blockages of the server where the physician would have to give him morphine I would say no tube, because morphine does not send him to a cardiac arrest and she spent a lot faster.
