Strong Painkillers strong painkillers .....? I had bad period pains and taking strong painkillers 500 mg, 65 mg of caffeine, 2 tablets, and I took 4 doses of today, I accidentally took a dose 2 hours after my last dose (its meant to be every 4 hours), I have not eaten much today, and I feel sick ... do you think it is because of the painkillers? you probably need to eat with painkillers, I suppose you are using acetaminophen? It should say on the package to take with or after the "food, or something like that. if you take them on an empty stomach, it may irritiate its lining. if you're really in pain, my doctor says I take 2 paracetamol, then two hours after ibuprofen 2, then two hours later, two more than paracetamol, and so on and so on while you are still feel the pain. paracetamol and ibuprofen are safe to take together and actually help each other work better. I had very bad period pain and taking painkillers this way helped me a lot. hope it will help if you try:) Definatley. You have to line your stomach when taking painkillers. Paracetamol is the kindest of your stomach, so they're OK when you have not really eaten much or have a sensitive stomach. Do not take aspirin because they actually damage the lining of the stomach. You can obtain affordable medicines for menstrual pain, mefenamic acid. oh yes ... no offense to pharmaceuticals. but all drugs have side effects. particularly antibiotics. that is why it is called, antibiotics. (Anti = against bio = life). most pharmaceutical drugs do not cure the illness / pain ... but it does affect other parts of your system. Try drinking herbal products. Herbal products are generally not cure your disease. But it stimulates your immune system and up. Besides ... Better safe than sorry. Posted on March 1, 2010.
