Tea Insomnia Can you drink tea in the morning if you suffer from insomnia? My father has difficulty sleeping at night. There are many nights when he could not sleep for two, three hours. I have the same problem with insomnia and coffee gives me more energy than tea but the tea keeps me awake and will never close the eye once Ive had a cup of tea if I keep away from tea of coffee after 18 hours, however, does not keep me awake but not give me more energy and does not really affect my sleep, no matter what time I drink so that the real answer is here he must stay away from any stimulus whatsoever, but im im the same all depends if he did not sleep IVE should probly try a 24 hour relay being awake and serve the whole of caffeine until 24 hours pass, then go to bed and get a good sleep Nites next morning, he should start cutting caffiene helped me a lot, but it is not easy to do Tea without caffeine, problem solved! I myself am half insomniac, it takes a lot of medications or over 24 hours of sleep for me to sleep ... and I always drink tea without caffeine = D The half-life of caffeine in the blood in healthy adult male is about five hours, which means that the level after 5 hours is half that of the original level. Ten hours later, therefore, the level of blood would be even a quarter, it is conceivable that the tea could affect sleep that night. Depends on when you decided to sleep. Any stimulant that contains caffeine, like sodas various tea or coffee, is generally frowned upon in the four hours before your scheduled sleep time. Further, more than four hours, is very good with moderation. There is no problem with the morning unless you plan to sleep in the afternoon there. I am one to drink hot, black, strong coffee for early morning, I woke up after lunch or dinner. I stopped coffee before my last meal of the day. After dinner, I'll soda without caffeine in the afternoon or later, shortly before dinner ... If I have something later, or after dinner, it can only be ICE COLD water or a soda without caffeine. Morning tea does not sleep. Only if you take the time to sleep at night, it applies to certain people. Posted on March 10, 2010.
