The reference values for blood tests
Interpretation
The range is generally defined as the set of values of 95 per cent of the population is normal (that is, 95%) or two standard deviations from the mean, although the definition may vary (see definition of reference range). It is determined by collecting data from a large number of laboratory tests.

Units
