Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor

My blood pressure is slightly high and I'm trying to measure it at home. My wife bought me a computer wrist wristech bp but I'm not sure where the position of my wrist to get an accurate reading.

you put on a watch, but it must go on the underside of the wrist, then you should sit quietly ... not speak or move ... to obtain an accurate reading. that you are using the same wrist every time you take a reading if you can compare the results. but remember that blood pressure naturally varies a bit throughout the day.

I owned one once. My doctor discovered that their not reliable. Indeed, it took his office and he compared his cuff bracelet reading and it was far. In addition, the closer to your heart the best reading. And poor circulation in your extremities of the least accurate.

They may work for some people, but I've never been able to get consistent results. Thank you for your wife for her good intentions and buy or borrow a famous brand arm cuff model to see if it works better for you.
