Yellow Fever Vaccination

Yellow Fever VaccinationWhere is the vaccination against yellow fever injection?

Hello all.

I just wanted to know where vaccination against yellow fever is injected. I have no problem with needles or anything I just watched the bit on Pearl Harbour, where all the soldiers get their yellow fever, and injection had to bend down and do around the area injected bum!

Just curious to know people who have been vaccinated in the past because I have mine when I go to Kenya next year.

Thank you.

Hello, yes I think I had Stamaril (vaccine against yellow fever) in the past. It is subcutaneous (layer of fat between skin and muscle) in the outer surface of the buttock arm, thigh or abdomen. You can ask where.

You have to last 10 days before going to Kenya. Have fun, I love Africa.

Typically in your left arm. also depends on what other shots that you encounter.

As for the OL "buttock injection method, which is usually reserved for the Joint Appeals Board against tetanus and cons nausea drugs, although doctors vary in their mode of application.
